the ship hand dies in the middle of the movie. also the boy rescues two dogs that were on the boat. also the boy and girl rescue this other girl from pirates who was disguised as a boy for certain reasons. the father promises to come back for his daughter.I’m trying to give you as much information as i can because i really want this movie.

Should he be thrown to the dogs or should we try to understand him in the context of the lawless society he was brought up in.Is he a killer or a robber? Was he forced by older pirates to do the dirty work.How can we begin to understand a 15 yr old from the kind of country that is surreal to us.

I’ve seen multiple rappers and musicians (like Snoop Dog and various other artists) wear pittsburgh pirate hats and i think it’s kinda weird. Most of them aren’t from pittsburgh and as a person from pittsburgh I really think it’s retarded because the pirates suck.
